Alumni Round Up and Gala

Due to the epic and devastating rainfall in the Houston area and to better assist our alumni family and friends with recovery from Hurricane Harvey, the Board of Directors has elected to postpone this year's gala previously scheduled for September 14th. All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date. Please stay tuned for new information when we can celebrate and be thankful for recovery together!

Class Reunions

The Class of 2002 is holding its 15 year reunion at The House of Blues, downtown Houston, on Saturday, September 30th. Please let us know if you have any old photos or memorabilia to share and see our Meetings and Events for registration.

Lawless Kitchen is the venue for the Class of 1997's 20 Year Reunion on Friday, November 3rd, (please note date change) site of the former Rice Hotel.

If your class is planning a reunion, we are here to help! Please contact Tricia or Kathy and they will be happy to discuss the details of the services we can provide.

The Class of 1987 held their 30 year reunion during the Star of the South Meeting. Watch for photos in the near future!

Welcome New Members

Welcome new Alumni Association members!

The UTSD Alumni Association has created a Tooth Collection Program to assist UTSD Dental Students in obtaining appropriate teeth to meet their program requirements. We are asking Alumni to save extracted teeth in jars the association will provide, free of charge. Dental students need help in collecting teeth for lab practicals, mock boards, Boards, and various other restorative and endodontic activities.

The Alumni Association will also coordinate drop off and pick up of the jar(s) from your office.Contact Dr.Joe Piazza at jmpiazzajr@gmail.com or Kathy Zwieg at kathy.zwieg@gmail.com for more information.Please help our future alumni with this important requirement!
